Charles Clayton, OD
After graduating with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Clayton joined Bellevue Vision Clinic in July 2000. He has a strong medical eye care background to his primary eye care focus, with extensive experience with dry eye syndrome, ocular diseases, sports vision performance enhancement, and specialized contact lens fittings on a wide variety of patients. He is a member of the Optometric Physicians of WA, American Optometric Association, and prior President of the King County Optometric Society.
Dr. Clayton grew up on a farm in the Yakima Valley. He consumed a lifetime of Asparagus on the family farm in his first 18 years of life, but still misses the hands-on hard work of farming.
In his spare time, Dr. Clayton enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, and sports. He loves spending time with friends and family, especially his wife, their 3 kids, and 2 dogs, Chewbacca (a large breed chocolate Labradoodle born on May the 4th), and Ginger (the sweetest Lab/Shepherd rescue you'll ever meet).

Nermeen Hamza, OD
Dr. Hamza graduated from New England College of Optometry in Boston in 2003. After graduating, she completed an additional residency in family practice/community health optometry and continued on at the college as a clinical educator of interns and residents for several years.
Dr. Hamza and her family moved to the Seattle area in May 2010 and she joined Bellevue Vision Clinic shortly after in July. In June 2013, she became 50% partner and owner of Bellevue Vision Clinic with Dr. Clayton.
Dr. Hamza has a strong background in ocular disease, pediatrics, geriatric care, dry eye syndrome, concussion rehabilitation, sports vision enhancement, corneal refractive therapy/CRT and Ortho-K, as well as complex contact lens fitting. Dr. Hamza is a member of the Optometric Physicians of Washington and the American Optometric Association.
In her down time, Dr. Hamza enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband, their 2 young sons, extended family, and adorable labradoodle, Taz.

Dr. Dela Rea (pronounced De-la-Re-a) joined Bellevue Vision Clinic in July 2016. Dr. Dela Rea received her undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia in 2008. She earned her Doctorate in Optometry from SUNY College of Optometry in New York, NY in 2014. Following graduation, she completed a one-year residency in primary eye care/ocular disease at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. After completing her residency in 2015, she went on to work in a private practice in Brooklyn, NY before leaving the hustle and bustle of New York City and joining our team of experienced optometric physicians in July 2016.
Dr. Dela Rea provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She has extensive experience with pediatrics, ocular disease, glaucoma, geriatric care, contact lenses, and pre and post-operative cataract, and LASIK care.
Dr. Dela Rea is a member of the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington.
Dr. Dela Rea grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia and lives on the eastside of Lake Washington. She is happy to be back home in the Pacific Northwest and close to family and friends.
Dr. Laura Olsen joined the Bellevue Vision Clinic in September 2018. She attended the University of Michigan for her undergraduate studies in Ecology and then pursued Optometry at State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry in New York City, obtaining her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science.
She then went on to complete a residency in Pediatric and Binocular Vision at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Olsen enjoys providing quality eye care to patients of all ages, and is particularly passionate about working with children and various binocular vision disorders such as eyestrain, amblyopia (lazy eye), strabismus (turned or crossed eye), learning disabilities, Corneal Refractive Therapy/CRT and Ortho-K, concussion, and sports vision enhancement.
Dr. Olsen grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan, but is excited to now be in the Pacific NW. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and exploring National Parks.
